Hugh and Dave:
I have potential for Dave's help at Aberdeen Test Center on two separate
projects:
1. Bridge Test System: This system was installed, accepted, and in
warranty over 6 months ago. Rod Larson will be making a trip to provide
some training and start-up help as the customer converts the system from
a demonstration bridge to a new test specimen. This is expected to
happen in mid-May. This would be an excellent time for Dave to be on
hand to get some training on the system and interface with the customer.
I expect about 2 days.
Would Dave be available for this training?
2. Roadway Simulator System:
The building construction is the pacing item for this schedule---and all
indication is that the steel shell being fabricated by Aberdeen'
subcontractor will be 6 weeks latter than planned. We have planned for
our MTS test equipment to be shipped in a phased delivery. In August we
have planned the base plate installation, but I don't see any of Dave's
involvement for this(we will hire millwrights to do the installation).
The hardline and pump installation could begin in mid-Sept, and the
corners in mid-October. We certainly could use Dave's help for some of
his time from mid-Sept. through December. What percent of his time is
available?
